Bus Greeters

This program helps get the wheels rolling during the first 2 weeks of school (Sep 5th-19th). Bus greeters will meet kids as they exit the bus at school. They will help kids learn their bus numbers, by writing the bus number on their hand as they exit the bus and direct them to their classes. After school, they will hold signs with bus numbers and assist children to get to the correct bus. Approx time investment 20 mins in the AM and 20 mins in PM.

This program helps in assisting the younger children in the lunchroom each day with their student numbers and getting their lunches. It may also be helping them with little things like open their pudding cup or juice box. Volunteers are needed for 11:30 am-12:00 pm, 12:00 pm -12:30 pm and 12:30 pm- 1:00 pm. Please feel free to sign up for multiple shifts and days per your convenience.

In addition to receiving a certificate and Golden Acorn pin, a contribution of $75 will be made in the honoree’s name to the Washington State PTSA Scholarship Foundation. Save your "Box Tops for Education"! Clip them from General Mills cereal boxes and other items labeled "Box Tops for Education" We will send home collection sheets throughout the year. The money collected from box tops allows us to purchase PE and recess equipment. So, save your Box Tops!

Discovery Math Club is for 4th and 5th graders who are interested in taking their math skills to the next level!
