COOKING COMPETITION RULES AND FAQs

YOU WILL NOT BE ENTERED INTO THE COMPETITION IF YOU DO NOT ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING RULES:

  1. You MUST register HERE to enter the competition.
  2. Your food MUST be dropped off between 5:30 and 5:45 at the school.

  3. Your food MUST be in sample size portions when you drop it off. Details below.

  4. You MUST include an ingredient list when you drop off your food.

FOOD
What kind of food should I make?
A homemade savory snack or dinner dish.
 
How much food should I make?
Plan on making 50-75 samples. You will be notified of a final headcount on February 4 via email.
 
What should I put my food in?
FOOD MUST BE DELIVERED IN SAMPLE CUPS, like the ones HERE. PTSA has sample cups available for you. You can pick up sample cups from 24004 SE 13th Pl, at anytime, January 31-February 6. If food samples are delivered to the school in containers that you would like returned, please label and pick them up on the night of the competition.
 
When should I drop off my food?
FOOD MUST BE DROPPED OFF AT THE SCHOOL, BETWEEN 5:30 AND 5:45, ON FEBRUARY 6.
 
Should I include a recipe?
YOU MUST INCLUDE AN INGREDIENT LIST; however, it not necessary to include the cooking instructions unless you want to do so.

Do I have to register? 
YES, IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER, YOUR FOOD WILL NOT BE ENTERED INTO THE COMPETITION.
 
When will the winners be announced?
Winners will be announced at 6:25 on February 6.
  
Are there prizes?
Yes!

Can I attend and vote if I do not want to bring food?
Yes, but you must register HERE.
