Golden Acorn Award Nominations Each year, the Discovery Elementary PTSA recognizes people who are exemplary volunteers, educators and advocates in the Discovery community. In addition to receiving a certificate and a Golden Acorn pin, a contribution of $75 will be made in the honoree’s name to the Washington State PTSA Scholarship Foundation.
