Read more days to earn more books!

The goal for Discovery's Eager Reader program is to build reading habits outside of school.

Every Discovery student will choose a new book to take home to kick off the 2024 Eager Reader program! Teachers will bring their classes to the Eager Reader portable during the school day during the week of 1/12/24.
All Discovery students will select a 2nd book of their choice to take home at the end of Eager Reader (week of 2/12/24).
Students who read daily & return their reading log will earn a 3rd book to take home.
Students who return their reading log have the chance to win individual student prizes, classroom prizes, and a grand prize!
- Classes who return the most reading logs will be entered to win 1 of 3 hot cocoa parties and a story with Mrs. Gage!
Students loved the student-designed bookmarks last year so bookmark designs are back again this year. All students will choose a bookmark to take home when they pick out their book!
The Eager Reader program is funded by your donations. Thank you to all donor families who support Discovery's PTSA so we can provide these enrichment programs!
