Reflections Art judging has begun. You can participate through Nov.14th!
We received many amazing works of art for this year's Reflections program. The theme was "Heroes Around Me." Now, we have the hard task of scoring entries.  Anyone can judge entries  by simply stopping by the school, signing in at the office, and using the scoring sheets inside the judging binder in the library. The binder is located to your right as you enter the library on the cabinet behind the librarian's desk. The art is hanging on in the main hallway near the library.  Judging begins Nov. 7th and runs through Nov. 14th.   Thank you in advance for taking the time to judge! To ... read full article

Five classrooms still need Art Docent volunteers. Can you help?
We are currently looking for 1-2 volunteers to serve as an Art Docent in each classroom.  The following classes do not have docents: Kim (1st grade), Yamamoto (1st grade), Flett (2nd grade), Hoffman (3rd grade), and Ogden (5th grade).  The Art Docent Program gives students hands-on learning experiences that enrich their development. It gives them an opportunity to express their feelings and ideas, freely, in a variety of mediums while teaching them how to follow a process to get amazing results. This is true creative thinking for the 21st century!    To learn more or to volunteer, click here.   ... read full article
