Visitors and Volunteers Need to Bring A Picture ID to School

The Issaquah School District is taking steps to ensure the safety of our children by implementing new security measures. Starting Jan.28, 2019, visitors AND volunteers, must:

  1. Enter the school and head directly to the main office.
  2. Show your picture ID – your ID will be scanned into the school system and a photo ID sticker will be printed for you to wear while you are on school property. Your badge must be visible
  3. Sign-in on the clipboard in the office
  4. Sign-out – even without a badge to return, it is very important to sign-out through the office.

This important process is how the school administration accounts for people in the building during emergencies. Your sticker will be void at the end of the day and can be thrown out. Please allow yourself a few extra minutes to sign-in and remember to bring your ID into the building. Thank you for helping keep our students and staff safe!
